Artist's Description
An watercolor painting about a couple tango dancers. I got invited by a few of tango dance events to display my art this year. And during this time，I feel the enthusiasm and passion of tango dancers, so I decided to draw a tango dance subject to encourage all the dancers to pursue their dancing dreams. I spend couple of weeks on and off watch them dancing and finally finished my first tango dance artwork. When I first display the finished artwork, they are so touched and I am very happy. Everyone should has his / her dream regardless what they do or how old he/she is. That's the true meaning of art - to inspire people!
Original artwork will be exhibited at Blackhawk Gallery (Danville, CA) from February 15th through April 21st, 2019. Reception date is Feb 16 5-7pm open to public.

Artist Statement: Through art we enjoy the beauty of our lives! - San Francisco bay area artist started her art journey during childhood time with a strong interest in traditional eastern art. She had studied art and design majoring in Fashion Design in Shanghai and continued her art exploration after her immigration to California in late 1990s. She loves to draw people, figure and fashion themes in watercolor, ink, eastern paint, acrylic, gouache water-based art medium. She is also open to explore different mediums.
